What are the connections between seemingly disparate fields like contract and art? And can these open up new perspectives for the respective field? The project 'Contract and Art' aims to provide answers to these questions. To this end, discipline-bound views shall be dissolved and new approaches to the research of the contract and the dissemination of law-related knowledge shall be found.

 

The project is coordinated by the CMI Berlin, Profs. Schuhmann and Eichhorn, and the Berlin School of Design and Communication, Prof. Schulze-Seehof. Three sub-projects are currently in the conception or pilot phase:

 

• Interpretation of the contract and the work of art

• Contract negotiation and performance

• The work of art as a carrier of contractual elements
